I Covet 009: Bringing Ambience To A Living Space Near You
Dark and moody is the theme of this month’s I Covet curation. Hand picked by IGfluencer Jessi Than, these 6 pieces are the perfect pals for a pleasantly moody, sculpturally exquisite, and ambient living space.
A home can never have too many hooks, especially when they’re shaped into little sculptures. I love the ferm LIVING Cairn Hooks for just that - they’ll hold a bag or a coat, but also look like a piece of wall art when not in use.
A tiered coffee table screams functional but make it fun, and ferm LIVING’s Distinct Coffee table does just that. I’d style this with a combination of books, bowls, trays, and vases around the centre to leave plenty of space for cups of tea, tv remotes, the candle I’m burning, and all my other functional day-to-day bits.
What can I say, I love a squiggle? MIDDLE OF NOWHERE’s Artemis mirror is a subtle pop of play that also helps make a space appear larger than it actually is. If you’re feeling like your living space is lacking ‘something’, maybe give this piece a go.
I’ve always believed in the idea that the more refined and simple a piece is, the greater its beauty. KRISTINA DAM STUDIO embodies this believe in everything they create, but I think it’s most evident her their stools. Simple and clean, it’s one of my favourite pieces from the design houses’ collections.
I’m a sucker for a beautiful tray, and 101 COPENHAGEN certainly delivers with this one. The Medusa, its silhouette inspired by jellyfish, has an authentic handmade quality to it and is a gorgeous, yet functional piece for a console or coffee table.
Larger trays are my secret weapon to keeping things clean and organised. They hold anything and everything to keep me tidy but still looking good in the process - store perfumes, cutlery, skincare; you name it, they hold it! And when they’re in a gorgeous brown marble like this one from BLOOMINGVILLE…
