Established over 100 years ago, Eva Solo A/S is a design powerhouse with a reputation for high quality products for the kitchen. The company is managed and owned by Jan Engelbrecht, fourth generation of the founder’s family. Jan’s mother, Eva, inspired the company’s trademarked name in 1950, which saw the brand grow in popularity throughout Danish homes. It has since gone on the win over 200 international design prizes, including iF Product Design Awards, Good Design Awards, Red Dot Design Awards and the Designpreis.

Eva Solo A/S have worked to adapt their designs to fit in with the various developments and changes taking place in the modern home. Their starting point was functional, high-quality kitchen utensils. In the 1970s, when open-plan kitchens became all the rage, Eva Solo produced kitchen equipment that was not only incredibly functional, but also visually captivating and perfect for displaying on bench tops and counters.

In keeping with its history, the company is today known for the functional and high-quality design of its products. Eva Solo has grown into a modern, innovative and international design brand. Their head office is located just outside Copenhagen, Denmark, but their products are sold worldwide. Eva Solo never stands still. Despite being a fourth-generation family business, they are every day looking to take the next evolutionary step in the development of the next generation of Eva Solo products.
