Ben-tovim Design
Ben-Tovim Design was founded by Jonathan Ben-Tovim in 2011 as an industrial design consultancy with an in-house range of lighting and furniture.
Jonathan Ben-Tovim was born in Zimbabwe, grew up and studied industrial design in Adelaide and then moved to Holland to complete a masters at the renowned Design Academy Eindhoven. This was followed by several years of working as a designer in London, until 2010 when Jonathan finally settled in Melbourne, Australia.
Each Ben-Tovim design is assembled by hand in their Melbourne studio. B-TD looks to source as many parts and materials from local suppliers as possible.The B-TD Studio loves to explore new technologies such as 3D printing, however the ultimate ambition is to always create timeless objects worth holding on to.
